Published Mon 05 Oct 2026

Perfect conditions greeted athletes on New Town Bay on Saturday 3 October for the Kirby Cup which kicked off the 26/27 rowing season. Over 100 club and school rowers hit the water for the traditional opener hosted by Buckingham Rowing Club. Big thanks to all the volunteers who made such a successful event possible, well done to all participants and special mentions to those who took home the silverware!
